About Morning Glorious...
Morning Glorious is an independent brick and mortar shop located in Putney, Vermont. We are open Saturdays 11-5, and other days of the week by chance, and by appointment. We sell men's and women's vintage and designer clothing from the 18th century through the 1980s. We also have a wonderful selection of vintage accessories and jewelry.
We are a husband and wife team. Jennifer has been wearing and collecting vintage since she was about 14, and has been buying and selling for well over a decade; at one time she was a vintage eBay power-seller with more than 5000 successful transactions. Vincent is a writer, and he enjoys studying the history of textiles and couture clothing. Together we take the photos and write the descriptions for our websites, run the retail shop, and sell at shows.

Over the years, Morning Glorious has been featured in numerous books and periodicals including "How to Do Everything with eBay" (Greg Holden, McGraw Hill), The New York Times, Elle, the blog at Hooti Couture, The Vintage Fashion Guild Blog, The Rutland Herald, The Brattleboro Reformer, The Message, and Vermont Maturity
Magazine.
We have sold to collectors and museums around the world, as
well as provided outfits and accessories for several theater companies, independent films, and
television, notably, the Emmy award winning AMC drama Mad Men.
We are currently providing vintage clothing for the upcoming Jay Craven film, "Northern Borders."
Morning Glorious is a proud juried member of The Vintage Fashion Guild.
When you purchase from us online, you can be assured that you are buying from seasoned professionals. We will treat your order as one from a valued customer. Your items will be carefully wrapped, properly protected, insured and shipped (sent with delivery confirmation, or signature confirmation for orders over $250) within one week of receiving your payment. We usually ship weekly on Mondays. If you need your things expedited, just let us know.
