Morning Glorious started out back in 2000 as Morning Glorious Collectibles on eBay, where I became a PowerSeller, offering everything from pottery and glass to old books, ephemera and artwork. Eventually the focus of Morning Glorious became vintage clothing, wearable textiles and period fashions. I chose this specialty because I've always worn and loved vintage fashion. Vintage clothing is made so well, and the styles are timeless and beautiful. I took it upon myself to learn everything I could about this amazing field. After 9 years of eBay sales, I have over 5000 positive feedbacks and a 100% positive rating!
My business was featured in the book "How to Do Everything with eBay" (Greg Holden, McGraw Hill).
Morning Glorious has been written about and/or interviewed in The New York Times, Hooti Couture, The Vintage Fashion Guild Blog, The Rutland Herald, The Brattleboro Reformer, The Message, and Vermont Maturity Magazine.
I have sold to collectors and museums around the world, as well as provided outfits and accessories for theater, film and television (notably, the fabulous AMC drama "Mad Men).
After eBay, I opened a web shop for MorningGlorious on Etsy, where I offer 60's, 70's and 80's trendy and retro clothes and costume jewelry, and some collectible kitsch, housewares, ephemera and mid-century modern. I also occasionally sell my handmade hankie-t-shirts and Heartifacts jewelry.
The next venture was Market Publique, an exciting new online auction site for trendy vintage!

Who are these Morning Glorious people, anyway? ...
This business is run by me, Jennifer Karpin-Hobbs. In this photo, I'm wearing a 1940s satin floral gown that I got at the Sturbridge Textile Show. This photo was taken at a live vintage fashion show fundraiser with 31 models which I organized in 2008, and the ladies of the Grafton Women's Community Club gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the end!
