Description: This is a sassy 1940's WW II era toy hat, in brown felt with metallic gold trim. Delightful inset crosshatch woven section. The hat sits like a skull cap with flying Dutchman wings. Accented by pearl tipped hat pins and a kooky brown veil. 100% wool. "New York Creation" label.

It measures 21.5 inches around the inside opening. The diameter of the hat is 9.5 inches
across, and it stands 4 inches tall.

Lovely 1940's Romantic Black Straw Wide Brimmed Hat with Pink Rose, size 22
Description: A sweet late 40's, wide brimmed black woven raffia or straw hat, this springy darling with a rolled brim edge features a lush pink fabric rose and a black velvet ribbon. Made by "Hahue & Co."
Condition: In excellent condition, no flaws to note.
Size: Tag says size 22, it measures 22 inches around the inside opening, the brim is 3 inches wide in front. The diameter of the hat is 13 inches across, and it stands 7 inches tall.

Outrageous 50's Vintage "Brandt" Hat Covered in Pink Roses, Large

Description: This crazy-fabulous 50's hat is a riot of huge pink papery fabric blooms, lush and deep, accented by light green leaves and dark green stems. A veritable beehive of giddy girlishness. All flowers rest on a chartreuse netting and velvet covered wire form, which is bendy and slightly stretchy. The label says "Brandt, New York." I wore this to a Red Dress Party on Valentine's Day and I was the "It Girl" there, let me tell you! I left them speechless.
Condition: Not perfect, there are 3 separations of the wire form from the velvet covered rim inside the hat. The largest is 3 inches long and 2 other tears are 1 inch each. Still, the hat is largely structurally sound and wearable. The tears do not show from the outside.
Size: A Large or Extra Large, it measures 25 inches around the opening. This Pile 'O Roses stands approximately 7.5 inches atop your crown. And it is 10 inches across.

Smart 1950s Quilted Beret by "D.Charles"

Description: This little 50's hat is a fab structured beret in a quilted taupe knit. The quilting has a nice geometry. The rim comes to a point in the front. Two little bows adorn the sides. Two combs are inside to secure it in your hair. The label says "Design by D. Charles." There is a handwritten tag from the previous owner that tells us this hat belonged to "Margaret (Alton) Smith," and it was acquired in 1950.
Condition: Excellent, clean, no flaws.
Size: I'd call this a small. 9 inches across and 21 inches around the inside opening.
